In anticipation of the Santa Monica Museum of Art’s third annual “Cause for Creativity: Tour da Arts” cultural bike workshop, tour, and festival, we invited the general public to participate in the museum’s first Bicycle Critter Art Contest. Each participant was asked to create a black and white drawing of an animal riding a bike to represent the spirit of the event. Participation was free and open to all ages.

Each submission was reviewed by our incredible judges panel of artists and art professionals: Lou Beach, Robbie Conal, Shizu Saldamando, and SMMoA curatorial staff.
