S1:E6 In this episode, SU's Future Studies & Forecasting Chair Paul Saffo replies to questions about the future of technology. Some of the topics discussed are the effect of dramatic life extension and its implications, augmented and virtual reality, and real-world Jurassic Park.
Paul is a forecaster with over three decades experience helping stakeholders understand and respond to the dynamics of large-scale, long-term change. He teaches at Stanford and advises governmental and corporate clients worldwide. Paul is also a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, and a Fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
