This bike flashmob has been organised to highlight issues with bicycle infrastructure in Manchester.
We're being told that there will be an investment of some £20m in cycling infrastructure across the city, while £290m is being invested in building 6 miles of motorway south of Manchester (SEMMMS).
The demands:
We demand that cycling receives similar consideration as a real alternative to motorised transport.
We demand “Dutch style” infrastructure for Manchester.
We demand Space4Cycling.
