The owner put their sock in the Savannah Monitor's cage to let it get used to owner's scent. The monitor ate the sock. It was brought to vet who put the lizard under anesthesia and slowly pulled the sock out of the lizard's stomach. The lizard did fine. No more clothing in the cage!
